~~gosh I actually cried some during this scene when I first saw it I couldnt help it~~ this has to be my favourite scene in the the Hobbit so far, its just oh my god alsdkgh I love how Thorin's first word/out-loud-thought was " the halfling", I love how he admits he was wrong and then hugs Bilbo~~and seemingly looks down at him like "mmmm"~~, and then how its only after the eagles distract him that he looks past Bilbo and sees the mountain ALL IN ALL IT WAS JUST PERFECT AND I FOR ONCE IN A BLUE MOON LET THE TEARS FLOW DURING A MOVIE AT THE CINEMA ALSDKGADSKGH

so yeah guess who is suffering art block again and has rewatched this scene over and over again because of its perfection
